…من لا يرحم

عن جرير بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال, قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

من لا يرحم الناس لا يرحمه الله

‘Whoever does not have mercy upon the people then Allaah does not have mercy upon him.’

“The servant..”

At-Tirmidhee and Ibn Maajah narrated that `Atiyah As-Sa`di said that the Messenger of Allah (sall`Allahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,

«لَا يَبْلُغُ الْعَبْدُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ حَتَّى يَدَعَ مَالَا بَأْسَ بِهِ حَذَرًا مِمَّا بِهِ بَأْس»

“The servant will not acquire the status of the Muttaqeen until he abandons what is harmless out of fear of falling into that which is harmful.”

[At-Tirmidhee then said, “Hasan Ghareeb.”]

Love moderately

قال الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم

أحبب حبيبك هونا ما ، عسى أن يكون بغيضك يو ما ما ، وأبغض بغيضك هو نا ما عسى أن يكون حبيبك يو ما ما

“Love moderately, for perhaps the one you love, one day, will be hated to you; and hate moderately, for perhaps the one you hate, you will one day come to love.”
